Lack of activity on everyone's part has prompted me to stop contests and just make this club into a gallery. There will be no more activities until further notice, but members are welcomed and encouraged to submit their breed artwork to the gallery! Just drop us a note with a link to the artwork in question and we will upload it for you. :3

Welcome to Canis Obscura.
We're the club on dA dedicated to breeds of the domestic dog, canis familiaris, that we feel are underrepresented in art and fandoms. If you are a fancier disgruntled over your favourite breed not getting enough love or limelight, or if you simply would like to see more breed variety in the canid artists' community, then do stop on by, we'd love to have you Anyone who has characters of underrepresented breeds, or are simply fanciers of a certain one, are welcome.

Joining Requirements:
No joining requirements other than that you have one or more favourite breeds and wish to see MORE of said breed/s than there is already out there. Although if you have a fursona or a character of such a breed, that's a plus.

You could alternatively comment on the club page or journal entries, but there's a chance we might not see those.

just watch the club and expect to be added as a member.
